The Google PageRank toolbar
that Google provides has become highly popular these days, most
webmaster rely on ranking. Not only is it used by Google's visitors and
online surfers who have downloaded the Google Toolbar, it is also used
by Search engine optimization experts as an indicator, measurement tool
and guide to many of the unsolved questions and mysteries that each
website may bring up. Therefore if you need to know whether a website is
banned or not, the Google Toolbar is usually the first method by which
one will confirm if your site is banned or not. But remember
a PageRank
of 0 does not mean that your website is banned on Google.
The most simplest way to check your site is truly banned
or not is by going to Google.com, typing 'www.yourdomain.com'
without the apostrophes. See whether
your website comes up in the results. If it does not, but used to do
earlier, then it may have been banned. If it
returns no pages at all and does not provide a link to your website then
you are most likely banned.
